 David – The Artist and Designer. I am a surfer, traveler, designer, and itinerant artist. While in college I was fortunate to spend several years as apprentice to artist Gemma Taccogna. My wandering study began in 2008 after earning a degree in fine arts from Cal State Long Beach.  Briana – The Photographer and Sociologist. Fueled by a deep interest in exploring how others live and in creating new adventures, my love of travel has been steadily growing over the past ten years. My trips to Burma and to New Zealand, in addition to Eastern Africa, have produced my most poignant travel moments. At home and abroad, my favorite pursuits include backcountry backpacking, photography, swimming, peppermint tea with poetry, and an ongoing hunt for the spiciest food I can tolerate. I remain powerless towards puppies, guacamole, and good adventures. I am excited for this latest wandering study to join my sociological training, my love of travel, and my photographic experience.
